Terms and Conditions
Read the terms that govern access to and use of the QUIVYX QR ordering, payment, and pickup platform.
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Related policies: Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of QUIVYX, including the public event ordering experience, organizer dashboard, bartender tools, payment-related features, and related website pages.
By accessing or using QUIVYX, you agree to these Terms. If you use QUIVYX on behalf of an organization, event, venue, merchant, or vendor, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
About QUIVYX
QUIVYX provides QR ordering, payment-related technology, event menu, order management, and pickup validation software for events and high-volume venues. Guests can scan a QR code, view available products, submit an order, pay through supported checkout flows, and receive a pickup receipt that staff may validate.
Eligibility
You may use QUIVYX only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms and comply with all applicable laws. If an event, product, venue, or purchase is subject to age, identity, licensing, or local restrictions, you are responsible for complying with those restrictions.
Account Registration and Security
Organizer, bartender, and administrator surfaces may require authentication or access credentials. Account authentication is supported through Clerk. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information and for safeguarding credentials, access codes, devices, and sessions.
You must promptly restrict access for staff who should no longer use an event or dashboard, and you must not share administrator access with unauthorized people.
Platform Role
QUIVYX provides software and payment-related technology. Event organizers, merchants, vendors, venues, or other sellers remain responsible for the products they list, price, sell, prepare, fulfill, refund, or restrict, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Event Organizers, Merchants, and Vendors
Organizers and vendors are responsible for event setup, menu accuracy, product descriptions, prices, taxes, availability, inventory, staff access, fulfillment, age checks, food safety, licensing, and compliance with laws that apply to their events and products.
Customer Orders
Customers are responsible for reviewing event menus, quantities, prices, fees, and order details before submitting checkout. Orders may depend on event status, product availability, inventory, payment confirmation, and operational capacity at the pickup location.
Pricing, Taxes, Fees, and Availability
Prices, service fees, product availability, pickup timing, and menu items may change by event. QUIVYX calculates order totals from current platform data during checkout, but organizers and vendors are responsible for maintaining accurate products, prices, taxes, and inventory settings.
Payments and Third-Party Payment Processing
QUIVYX uses Stripe and Stripe Connect for supported payment and connected-account workflows. Payment details may be collected directly by Stripe or other supported payment interfaces presented through checkout. QUIVYX does not state that it stores complete payment card numbers.
Payments may be processed as destination charges or similar connected payment flows for organizers that have completed payment onboarding. Payment methods may vary by device, browser, region, event, and payment provider configuration.
QR Codes and Pickup Validation
A valid pickup QR code or receipt may be required to receive an order. Copying, transferring, altering, reusing, or fraudulently presenting a pickup QR code is prohibited. Staff may reject invalid, unpaid, refunded, canceled, previously delivered, or event-mismatched QR codes.
Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes
Refund, cancellation, and dispute decisions may be controlled by the organizer, merchant, vendor, payment provider, or applicable law. QUIVYX may provide software records and payment-related tools, but it does not guarantee that an order can be changed, canceled, or refunded after it is submitted or fulfilled.
Alcohol and Age-Restricted Products
Organizers and vendors are responsible for determining whether products are age-restricted and for performing required age, identity, licensing, and sobriety checks before fulfillment. Customers must not order or pick up age-restricted products unless they are legally permitted to do so.
Food Safety and Product Responsibility
Organizers, vendors, and venues are responsible for food preparation, allergen information, ingredient accuracy, labeling, storage, handling, product quality, and compliance with food safety obligations. Customers should review product information and ask event staff about allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not misuse QUIVYX, interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent orders, abuse refunds, scrape or reverse engineer the service, upload unlawful content, bypass payment or validation flows, or use the platform in a way that violates law or harms customers, organizers, staff, or QUIVYX.
User Content
Organizers may provide event names, product names, descriptions, images, banners, and related content. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide that content and permit QUIVYX to host, display, and process it for platform operation.
Intellectual Property
QUIVYX, its software, interface, branding, logos, and related materials are owned by QUIVYX or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You may use QUIVYX only as permitted by these Terms and the platform functionality.
Third-Party Services and Links
QUIVYX may integrate with third-party services such as authentication, payment processing, hosting, storage, or device/browser features. Those services may have separate terms and privacy practices. QUIVYX is not responsible for third-party websites or services that it does not control.
Platform Availability and Changes
QUIVYX may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the platform. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, network issues, payment provider issues, device limitations, event operations, or causes outside QUIVYX control. QUIVYX does not promise uninterrupted service.
Account Suspension and Termination
QUIVYX may suspend or terminate access when it reasonably believes an account, event, order flow, or use of the platform violates these Terms, creates risk, violates law, harms users, or threatens platform integrity.
Disclaimers
QUIVYX is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, QUIVYX disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, QUIVYX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenues, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the platform.
Indemnification
If you are an organizer, vendor, venue, staff user, or business user, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold QUIVYX harmless from claims arising from your events, products, content, staff actions, legal compliance, misuse of the platform, or breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the user’s jurisdiction.
Dispute Resolution
Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact QUIVYX and attempt to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or procedures that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to the Terms
QUIVYX may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date may be updated. Continued use of QUIVYX after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
