Effective date: July 13, 2026
Related policies: Terms and Conditions, Cookie Policy.
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how QUIVYX handles personal information when people visit the website, contact QUIVYX, create organizer or staff accounts, use event ordering pages, pay for event products, or use bartender and pickup validation tools.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use QUIVYX, we may collect account information, contact information, event and product information, order details, payment status information, QR validation records, device and browser information, usage logs, and messages you choose to send through website contact methods.
Information Provided by Users
Users may provide names, email addresses, organization or venue names, event names, product names, descriptions, images, staff names, customer email addresses during checkout, and message content submitted through a contact request. Bartender access may ask for first and last name so the event team can track staff activity.
Information Collected Automatically
QUIVYX may receive technical information from browsers, devices, hosting infrastructure, authentication services, and security systems. This can include browser type, device characteristics, pages visited, timestamps, request metadata, log data, cookie or storage identifiers, and similar operational information. The current codebase does not show a dedicated advertising analytics pixel.
Information Received from Organizers and Vendors
Organizers and vendors may provide event details, product catalogs, inventory settings, pricing, images, staff access codes, and operational records. They may also receive information needed to fulfill orders, monitor event activity, and manage staff workflows.
Payment Information
QUIVYX uses Stripe and Stripe Connect for payment and connected-account workflows. Payment details may be collected directly by Stripe through Stripe Elements or related checkout technology. QUIVYX stores payment status, transaction identifiers, order totals, fees, and related order records, but the current codebase does not indicate that QUIVYX stores complete payment card numbers.
How We Use Information
QUIVYX uses information to operate the platform, authenticate users, create and manage organizer accounts, publish event menus, process orders, reserve inventory, support checkout, issue pickup receipts, validate QR codes, prevent duplicate fulfillment, provide support, maintain security, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Legal Bases, Where Applicable
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, QUIVYX may process information to perform a contract, operate requested services, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, or with consent where consent is required and obtained.
Service Providers
QUIVYX uses third-party services to operate parts of the platform. The repository confirms use of Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, Neon/PostgreSQL for data storage, Cloudflare R2 for image storage, and Vercel/Next.js hosting infrastructure. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Organizers, Merchants, and Vendors
Event organizers, merchants, vendors, and staff may receive order details, product selections, fulfillment states, pickup validation records, and customer contact information when provided, so they can manage and fulfill event orders.
Legal and Safety Disclosures
QUIVYX may disclose information when it believes disclosure is required by law, legal process, enforcement request, security need, fraud prevention, protection of rights, or protection of customers, organizers, staff, vendors, or the public.
Business Transfers
If QUIVYX is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Data Retention
QUIVYX keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the platform, maintain records, support event operations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and maintain security. Some local device storage may remain until a user clears browser storage or removes it through browser controls.
Data Security
QUIVYX uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect account credentials, access codes, devices, and QR receipts.
International Data Transfers
QUIVYX and its service providers may process information in locations where they operate. Privacy laws may differ by location. Where required, transfers are handled subject to applicable legal requirements.
Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, or appeal certain privacy decisions. These rights are subject to applicable law and may depend on whether QUIVYX acts directly or on behalf of an organizer.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have additional rights under California privacy laws, subject to exceptions. Based on the current implementation, QUIVYX does not intentionally sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, this policy should be updated.
Children’s Privacy
QUIVYX is not designed for children to create organizer or staff accounts. Event organizers and vendors are responsible for complying with laws that apply to minors, age-restricted products, and event attendance.
Third-Party Links and Services
QUIVYX may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Users should review those policies when interacting with third-party services.
Changes to This Policy
QUIVYX may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date may be updated. Continued use of QUIVYX after changes means the updated policy applies.
